This eye catching bay filly already shows great promise as a dressage performer. She has a wonderful trot with the "bounce" you look for in dressage horses. She is dark with one small white sock. When we bred the dam
Zinosa to Lord Sinclair our hope was to reinforce Zinosa's wonderful suspension with Lord Sinclair's movement and use Zinosa's "go," from her Jazz grand sire to add quickness to the Lord Sinclair blood. This filly tells us that this combination has worked. This filly shows the impact of the sires in her near pedigree Tango, Jazz, Contango and Purioso.
The dam is by the young stallion Tango a product of the magic cross of Jazz/ Contango where Jazz brings the movement and "go" and Contango contributes his great rideability. This stunning mare was a joy to start under saddle and to watch being ridden. She shows a lot of suspension combined with an effortless way of going. With her Jazz blood she shows a forewardness but it is always controllable. We struggled with the choice of developing this mare in sport or starting her breeding career but felt the opportunity to produce more like her was not to be missed.
The sire Lord Sinclair was two-time German Young Horse Champion, a top level dressage stallion who possesses coveted performance genes in abundance. Lord Sinclair's offspring are proving themselves by winning foal shows and championships--with their noble and dancing movements their significant trademarks. Lord Sinclair has over 20 approved sons. One of his most noted sons, Sir Sinclair owned by Iron spring Farms , claimed the highest price at the KWPN Select Sale selling for $380,000, and has become a noted sire in the USA. Lord Sinclair's daughters have been equally as successful. In 2003, his daughter "Prima Ballerina" was the best dressage mare at the National Stud Neustadt/Dosse. Lord Sinclair is a Prix St. George winner.
Lord Sinclair is also the sire of our five year old
Wiseman who shows professional movement combined with rideability suitable for an amateur.
