Olympic Cocktail was awarded Horse of the Year in 1995. Under rider Anky van Grunsven, Cocktail won incredible numbers of Grand Prix, Specials and Kürs to Music. He earned his Olympic title at an early age by winning the National Dressage Stallion competition in 1990 followed by the Goodwood Dressage World Cup in 1992.
Cocktail's sire Purioso is the sport horse producer of the 90's with three "Olympic" children; Olympic Wendela, Olympic Ambush & Olympic Cocktail. Purioso is a son of the leading German stallion Furioso II who has more than 70 approved sons and has influenced breeding world wide. Cocktail's dame is the "keur preferent" mare Ulissa.
